Biography
Jeannine Anderson brings a breadth of experiences to her career. She is a highly sought-after artist-teacher, soloist and recording artist. Ms. Anderson has toured across the United States as a violinist and fiddler to cities including Denver, San Diego, Austin, Nashville and New Orleans. She has been hired by the National Women’s Music Festival as associate concertmaster and as a jazz vocalist/violinist. In 2018, her band, Certified Organic, won an award for selling out Rose Music Hall in Columbia, MO. Jeannine has recorded two full albums and several individual tracks with local bands. In 2017 she composed and recorded the soundtrack and played as an actress for the Citizen Jane Film Festival bumper. Recently, she has begun a project of her own, which is set to debut in early 2019. Ms. Anderson also has a thriving private studio where she teaches violin, viola and cello to students of all ages.

PHOTO GALLERY: Members of Jane Doe Revue rock male-dominated industry
Ten local female musicians, who compose one-third of the female rock orchestra group Jane Doe Revue, share their experiences as minorities in the male-dominated music industry. The 30-plus-member group was brought together by Violet Vonder Haar and Phylshawn Johnson to raise funds in a benefit concert for Planned Parenthood on Saturday at The Blue Note.
